Flextronics Cork passes medical recertification

This allowes the facility continue to manufacture printed circuit boards and assemblies for non-invasive medical devices and products. The awarding body National Standard Authority of Ireland (NSAI) audited the Quality Management Systems to ensure that all regulatory and compliance requirements were being followed and adhered to. The Certification Officer spent a total of 4 full days in the Cork site as part of the 3 year certification review process which also included recertification for ISO 9001;2008 and TL9000 (Version 4.0). The Cork certifications are extended to 2012.
