Foxconn to open LED plant in China
EMS giant Foxconn will open a LED plant in Jinan, China.
The investment for this new plant is worth US$500 million. The Government of the Shandong Provincial capital city of Jinan signed in July an agreement with Foxconn regarding the investment into this new LED facility. Foxconn will produce LED lighting products and packages at the plant. It is still not clear when the construction and the production will start, said CENS.
