Videoton enters Ukraine

Hungry based EMS provider Videoton Group has established a manufacturing plant in Ukraine.
The plant was established in cooperation with Tochpribor, which already has presence in Ukraine. This new 3500 square meters facility will be specialized in producing cable parts for the automotive industry. The plant is scheduled to run on full capacity by the end of this year employing some 500 workers, according to a local media report cited by Portfolio. Yearly turnover is expected to be up to 7 million Euros per year. The main customer at the plant is Volkswagen.

Videoton has benefited from the weakening of the Ukrainian hryvnia versus the euro in recent time.
