Built-in software development for Lego Mindstorms
IAR Systems' Embedded Workbench environment supports the development of applications in Lego Mindstorms.
IAR Systems has introduced a free version of the IAR Embedded Workbench compiler and debugger to program the NXT Intelligent Brick in Lego's Mindstorms robotic building system. The free version of the IAR Embedded Workbench is a fully integrated C / C + + development environment that includes a project manager, an editor, build tools and the IAR C-CAT debugger for use with the Atmel AT91 - which is used in the Intelligent Brick. In this special 128k version of the IAR Embedded Workbench includes ready-made project files and examples for Lego's Mindstorms, which enables the user to launch their projects in the shortest possible time.
