LG Display to hire in Poland

LG Display is to launches an additional line in its facility in Kobierzyce and is to hire an additional 100 staff. The new line at LG Display Poland is scheduled to start production by the end of May, which will require the 100 new employees. The whole LG Group employs 7.500 staff in Poland, while LG Display currently employs 1,300 people. For 2009, LG Display plans to produce 7.5 million LCD modules, but the company is aiming for an eventual output of 8 million. (In 2008, the company produced 5 million modules.)
