Gorenje to reduce staff by 500 this year
Slovenian-based household appliances manufacturer Gorenje will reduce staff numbers by around 400 / 500 this year.
The company states that it will mainly lose employees through retirement and consensual termination of their job contracts. In first two months of 2009, the level of order inflow decreased around 20% to 25% - compared to the same period last year.
