Foxconn to invest in China; 200,000 new jobs

The EMS-giant Foxconn is to invest in Wuhan, China, creating 200,000 new jobs.

The company's investment is part of an overall Taiwanese investment of $2.42 billion in the Chinese city of Wuhan. Plans are to transform the city into a modern industrial base, logistics center and transportation hub. Foxconn plans to create a production centre of digital cameras in Wuhan, which would create around 200,000 new jobs.
