The big players within the global base station industry are threatened by a new mobile technology. The new technology enables mobile phones to communicate directly to each other without using the mobile base stations.
This technology, which will work as a kind of internet between mobiles, can within a few years threaten the mobile base station business which will be useless in case the new mobile internet will get it's breakthrough.
