Nokia may buy chips from Qualcomm
Qualcomm is hoping to sell chipset to mobile phone maker Nokia.
According to Richard Windsor, who tracks communications equipment at Nomura Securities, Qualcomm said talks are under way. Windsor suggested Qualcomm really only has a chance to win chips business from Nokia in areas where Nokia has made no investments, such as chipsets for Mobile Internet Devices.
