VOGT increases turnover by 1.6%

The EMS provider VOGT electronic has improved the operating result (EBIT) in fiscal 2007 to 3.2%.

The EBIT (adjusted special effects) was €5.5 million. This means that the operating margin of -1.2% (for 2006) increased to 3.2% in fiscal 2007. VOGT electronic was able to increase turnover by 1.6% to €174,4 million in 2007, compared to 2006. Without including the VOGT electronic Letron, which was sold at the beginning of November, the turnover increase would have reached 2.4%, compared to fiscal 2006. To increase competitiveness, the company was consequently following its restructuring measurements in 2007. VOGT electronic plans to reach a significant reduction in the future cost structure. However, this process affected the operative result with a nonrecuring payment of €12.2 million in fiscal 2007. The financial situation of the group was greatly improved in fiscal 2007. The loan agreement with SUMIDA was renewed for an additional 4 years and thus strengthens the companies position.
