Cofidur to rent from Sanmina-SCI in France
The French based EMS-provider Cofidur will rent Tourlaville facility from Sanmina-SCI in France.
Cofidur can now resume after-sales services for Alcatel-Lucent. Sanmina has agreed to rent out a 5000 m2 facility to Cofidur, according to maville. The lease will run until the end of 2010. However, the company has the right of pre-emption if Sanmina-SCI intends to sell the premises. This new lease of the facility to Cofidur could give 40 former employees of Sanmina-SCI a new job. Cofidur plans to expand into after-sales services and the facility in Tourlaville is a good opportunity for the company, maville reports. Cofidur reportedly has signed only part-time contracts with the new workers.
