Foxconn to invest in southern Taiwan
Foxconn Electronics plans to make a greater effort to invest in the development of Taiwan’s Southern region.
Taiwan president-elect Ma Ying-jeou urged Foxconn to invest more in Taiwan, particularly in the southern region, during a meeting with Foxconn CEO Terry Guo.
Digitimes reportet that Foxconn plans to use facilities available at Kaohsiung's harbor, using the port as a hub for transporting goods produced by the group in Vietnam and India to the US.
