Foxconn plans to produce 20 000<br>laptops in the beginning in Russia

The company plans to expand production volumes to 100 000 devices, if factors are right. Foxconn Russia stated that the expansion will be possible if order income increases and state taxes on imported components stabilize. The products will be exported to CIS countries as well as into Europe. Foxconn already operates a similar plant in the Czech Republic to cater for its European costumers. However, the company also states that future order inflow might not be sufficient to satisfy demand.
