Varioptic & Seiko in cooperation
French based Varioptic and Seiko have entered into a cooperation agreement regarding the development and production of liquid-lenses for cameras.
The two companies plan a production volume of 500 000 units by Q3/08. The lenses are tailored to the newest generation of mobile applications with camera functions, such as mobile phones, PDA and digital cameras.
