German chip can get your sight back
German researchers have developed a chip that could get your sight back.
At the German research centre for microelectronics in Stuttgart the researchers have discovered the utilization of a chip for making your sight better. The chip which is built on CMOS technology is 50 microns thick, has 4 I/O terminations and can be placed in the eyeball to replace dysfunctional receptors in the eye so that the sight will come into function again.
