IPTE launches universal scanner & AOI system
Belgium based supplier of automated production equipment, IPTE Group, has launched a new universal scanner system called EasyView.
According to IPTE, it offers a flexible in-line solution for a multitude of different tasks in the production environment, such as reading 2D matrix codes and barcodes, component checks (SMDs and others), solder joint inspection, check of press-fit components, verification of dispensed dots and measurement of PCBs and parts.
The central element of the EasyView system is the ADOMO camera system from the MODI company. Utilizing mirrors quickly driven by stepper motors, the camera field of view can be changed from one position to another within milliseconds and with a accuracy of 1 µm. The EasyView system can process PCBs and multiple PCB panels of up to 460 x 460 mm in size. The visual scanner EasyView is based on IPTE’s modular work cell systems technology.
