Toumaz: 'We're on our way.'

For the year to date, Toumaz has traded in line with the Board’s expectations.

In Healthcare, the Group’s wireless patient vital signs monitoring system, SensiumVitals, is live in Hurley Medical Center, Flint, Michigan and Spire Healthcare’s Montefiore Hospital, Brighton. Sales and distribution networks for SensiumVitals are established in 18 territories, including the US, Canada, Mexico, the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Australia, New Zealand and five Middle East markets (in total, accounting for 63% of global healthcare spend). The most recent distribution agreement, for Italy, was signed this week. Worldwide, the Group currently has meaningful engagements with over 100 hospitals. The first NHS hospitals are expected to deploy the system in the second half of 2014. In Consumer Audio, the Group’s Digital Radio technology solutions are the first to have been granted UK Digital Tick “Approved Technology” status. The development of the Group’s two next generation silicon programmes for Digital Radio and Connected Audio are both progressing to plan. First revenues are expected in the fourth quarter of 2014 and mid-2015 respectively. Anthony Sethill, CEO of Toumaz said: “The Group continues to deliver against its stated objectives. The interest shown in SensiumVitals® from hospitals and distribution partners is encouraging. We are now in hospitals in the US and the UK, and feedback from these deployments is expected in the coming weeks. “In Consumer Audio, I am pleased to report that our major silicon development projects are on track and progressing well.”
