Flextronics Low Cost<br>versus High Cost
EMS provider Flextronics has been in major focus since it announced that it will acquire rival firm Solectron.
The two companies together will have approximately 150 manufacturing plants around the world. Below is a chart showing how Low Cost versus High Cost Manufacturing Facilities is enlarged for the company.
In Asia the company has mostly low cost manufacturing plants, In the US they also has some low cost manufacturing plants. In Europe Flextronics has more high cost manufacturing plant. Please note that Solectron is not mentioned in this chart, it shows only Flextronics present plants.
