Henkel opens solder sphere plant

Henkel has opened its second major plant for producing solder spheres and Type 1 through Type 7 solder powders.

The new plant is aimed for the semiconductor packaging and printed circuit board assembly. Henkel acquired Taiwan based manufacturer Accurus Scientific Co. Ltd. late last year to get on a unique production technology that is capable of producing diameter ranges that ordinary manufacturing methods can't match.
