German EMS providers saw increased turnover in

The turnover rose again in the first quarter in the German EMS industry.
The turnover in the ZVEI member companies rose significantly in the first quarter of 2007. Compared to the average quarterly turnover in 2006 the turnover in the first quarter of 2007 was 7,4 percent higher. From the good business both Inhouse manufacturers and electronics Manufacturing services Provider (EMS) profited. The turnover rise was carried by a increased export portion of nearly 20 per cent. The Book ton Bill Ratio, a medium-term trend indicator, rose to 1,02, opposite 1,00 in the fourth quarter 2006. Positive signals showed here the industries data processing technology and telecommunications.
