Jabil close plant in the US

EMS provider Jabil is closing it's plant in Poway, California. 143 employees will lose their jobs.

According to a spoke women at company's headquarter in Florida the only information the company is releasing is contained in its regulatory filings, San Diego Business Journal reports. Last year in July Jabil undertook a corporate restructuring “to better align the company's manufacturing capacity in certain higher cost geographies." At that time the company did not told which plant will be affected buy this decision. Jabil notified the state Employment Development Department that it was closing the Poway plant, with final closure set for September, San Diego Business Journal reports.
