ST and Open Interface to collaborate
STMicroelectronics and Open Interface North America plans to collaborate on next-generation Bluetooth audio solutions.
Specifically, STMicroelectronics will embed Open Interface's SOUNDabout® and BLUEmagic® technologies in Bluetooth-based integrated audio products in its Sound Terminal™ family.
Consumer electronics manufacturers will be able to use these devices in the development of audio streaming solutions for portable music players, mobile phones with music streaming capability, PCs, set top boxes, TVs, games consoles, stereo systems and other products.
