Flex to lay off with Motorola closure

Motorola is closing down its Moto X, Fort Worth, Texas facility by the end of the year, and – as expected – Flextronics will lay off 223 employees connected to the alliance facility, according to a notice filed with the Texas Workforce Commission. However, whether or not these 223 employees are additional or included to the some 700 planned layoffs which Motorola has confirmed, according to a report in the Dallas Business Journal.
