IAR Systems in agreement<br> with European Chip Giant
Sweden based Embedded firm IAR Systems has signed a strategic agreement with a leading European-based semiconductor manufacturer regarding development, maintenance and licensing of software development tools.
IAR Systems will develop a new product in its IAR Embedded Workbench product line. The main development effort is scheduled to take place through-out 2006, and the agreement covers maintenance and software licensing to the end of 2009. The revenues from the order is estimated to be approximately 8.3 MSEK in the period 2006–2009, of which more than half will be booked in 2006.
