28 vs 22 for EMS companies

In preparation for the top list of 2012, we take a glance back at 2011. Where are those Top50 EMS-companies headquartered? One would think that Asia - being the manufacturing giant in almost every segment - is way ahead of Europe and the Americas. Surprisingly enough, that is not true. The majority of the listed companies are - in fact - headquartered outside Asia. True, looked at separately, both Europe and the Americas cannot compete. But these to regions are generally taken as a whole. © evertiq
