Report: IPad 3 production begins
Display panel manufacturers have begun shipping iPad 3 panels, according to a report by DigiTimes.
Citing unnamed sources, DigiTimes said that Samsung, Lg and Sharp have shipped one million panels for the iPad3 in October, and this will ramp up to two million units in November.
TPK Holdings and Wіntek, manufacturеrѕ of thе touch mоdulеs fоr the iPаd, rеpоrtly begun shipріng touch modules for the iPad 3 in mіd-Novеmbеr – their combined shipping will top over 1 million a month.
Foxconn is set to begin assembly of the Ipad 3 in January, according to DigiTimes.
