Delta Electronics invests in Chennai
Taiwan-based Delta Electronics is said to establish a new manufacturing facility in Chennai.
The plant - which will be the 4th facility in India for the company - is expected to be operational by mid-2012. The investment sum is close to USD 15 million.
Some 70% of the production output - the facility will produce solar inverters - will be exported. The remainder will be servicing the regional market in India.
