Sony to hire in Czech Republic

The Japanese electronics giant Sony has opened a small manufacturing facility in Štěnovice, Czech Republic.

The facility in Štěnovice (near Plzeň) will focus on the production and packaging of Blu-ray Discs, CDs and DVDs. The storage hall has been leased from ProLogis, local media reports. Sony is apparently looking for 200 - 250 new staff to work in a 2-shift-system. A timeframe has not been given.
