Celestica's CEO: Moving from a CM to a SCS company
In a interview with VentureOutsource the CEO for Celestica Mr. Craig Muhlhauser talks about a possible partnerships and changes in their business strategy.
He explains that Celestica is moving from being a contract manufacturing role to a supply chain solutions company – covering things such as design collaboration or the development of solution accelerators. It means the entirety of the product introduction process.
Regarding possible strategic partnerships in the future, Mr. Muhlhauser explains that the company would like to expand its cooperation with major and existing customers more on a partnership level. Celestica even considers a deeper cooperation with a number of major suppliers. However, the Canadian EMS provider also contemplates possible partnerships with other EMS companies, the interview continues.
