Sony to shed 275 in Spain

Japanese consumer electronics giant Sony has presented a package of measures which means that the company plans staff redundancies in Spain.
The company plans to lay off 275 employees at its Viladecavalls plant near Barcelona. According to the company this is necessary to maintain the production at the plant. Sony has european plants in Wales, France, Spain, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary.
