Subex receives order from Alcatel-Lucent

India-based Subex announced that it signed a contract with telecom operator Alcatel-Lucent for implementing its fraud management system, Nikira.
Nikira will protect the telecom company from fraudulent activity and help the operator to detect known fraud types in the telecom sector.

"Detecting and preventing fraud is an important issue for telecom operators, particularly those in fast-growing deregulated markets. This implementation is a great endorsement of the Nikira product and our partnership with Alcatel-Lucent," said Subex COO Sudeesh Yezhuvath, Bizpoland reports.

Following the implementation, the Alcatel-Lucent will be able to deliver content based services over one Internet Protocol infrastructure.
