SMD Coupled Inductors in Molding Technology

Those looking for coupled inductors are right with Würth Elektronik eiSos: The manufacturer has a huge portfolio of innovative coupled inductors for all types of applications.
This includes the new coupled inductors in molding technology, high voltage coupled inductors and coupled inductors with different turn ratios. The WE-MCRI for SMD assembly manufactured with the molding process is the first of its type in the market. Two identical round wire-windings compressed in a metal-powder material offer a compact and attractive design with excellent electrical values and improved EMC properties. The WE-MCRI offers 125% higher saturation current and 45% higher rated current compared with conventional products on the market. Thanks to its special winding construction, the WE-MCRI products attain an excellent coupling factor of up to 0.955. For high voltage and turn ratio The high voltage double inductors WE-DPC HV, WE-TDC HV and WE-CPIB HV are magnetically shielded coupled inductor with two identical windings for SMD assembly. These inductors excel with their very high insulation voltage of 2.0 kV. Another innovative product group: With the WE-MTCI series, Würth Elektronik eiSos has the first multi-turn double inductors with turn ratios of 1:1.5, 1:2 and 1:3 in its portfolio, which allow the different inductance values in a small package. The product family of coupled inductors encompasses the different form factors and extends from 4.0 × 4.0 × 2.0 mm small components through to those with dimensions of 21.0 × 18.5 × 13.5 mm. All double inductor series ensure stable power in a temperature range from -40°C to +125°C. The coupled inductor is an ideal solution for SEPIC and Ćuk switching converters if a high rated and saturation current with high coupling coefficient is required. Further applications include flyback converters with a 1:1 and 1:N turn ratios as well as step-up / step-down converters with isolated secondary output voltage. Free samples of the coupled inductors are immediately available. All products deliverable from stock. Find out more about coupled inductors in molding technology:
