Murata expands with new production building in Japan
Komoro Murata Manufacturing, a manufacturing subsidiary of Murata located in Komoro, Nagano Prefecture, Japan, will start the construction of a new production building in November 2021.
Murata says in a press release that this new production building will provide the infrastructure necessary to respond to growing demand for RF modules in a medium- to long-term capacity.
Once completed the new building with provide Murata with 13,460 square metres of floor space. Murata is investing JPY 5.77 billion (EUR 43.86 millon) in this expansion, this includes both the building and manufacturing equipment. The company says that it expects to complete the construction of the new production building by the end of December 2022.
