Toshiba and Sharp enters LCD cooperation
Toshiba and Sharp teams up to strengthen their position on the tough LCD market.
Under the agreement between Toshiba and Sharp, Toshiba will buy all its LCD panels from Sharp which is the largest LCD panel maker on the market. Thereby Sharp will get a strong customer which could enable Sharp to mobilize resources for investments in new production capacity and new technologies.
