Japan hit by 6.6 earthquake
A powerful earthquake struck western Japan on October 21, 2016. Japan's The Meteorological Agency recorded an earthquake with an estimated magnitude of 6.6.
The tremors hit the western prefecture of Tottori at 14:07 local time. According to a report in UK’s Independent, the agency stated that there is no danger of a tsunami following in its wake.
