National Semi adds design centre in Europe

Analog chip producer National Semiconductor plans to set up a new semiconductor design centre in Europe.
An unknown site in Europe has been chosen for the new centre. According to National Semiconductor, Europe is a prime location for recruiting analogue chip specialists. National Semiconductor currently has six design centres in Europe. The new centre will develop devices for the signal path such as high speed buffers.
