PCB market: sales decline, employment numbers increase

In February 2015, the sales figures for German PCB manufacturers decreased 3.7 percent YoY.
However, it has to be noted that the first half of 2014 shoed a relatively strong and stable level in respect to sales.

Order intake decreased likewise. It was about one fifth lower than in February 2014. But again, February 2014 showed a peak performance when compared to the last seven years.

In February 2015, larger PCB companies - in particular - suffered significantly from short-term adjustments to delivery schedules of their major customers.

The book-to-bill ratio reached a value of 0.91.

The number of employees remained almost unchanged from the previous month, but rose by 3.4 percent YoY.
