Amazon releases new Kindle Fire range

In a move that many think will help further Amazon's chance in the war against Apple, the company introduced the Kindle Fire HD 8.9" 4G which will sell for 499USD, along with a 7 inch and 8.9 inch non 4G version of the tablet. The seven inch has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels while the HD has a 1920 x 1200 pixel screen. The company also introduced a new Kindle Paperwhite with 62 percent more pixels and increased contrast of 25 percent.
