Axiom set to create new jobs

Wales-based contract electronics manufacturer Axiom will likely capitalize on a positive year by creating 20 new local jobs.
The company posted record sales for the first quarter of 2012, with a total of 6.8 million GBP (8.41 million euro). The figure marks a 20% increase on the same period last year.

“The rising figures are excellent news for the business and the Welsh economy. Axiom has always had a strong belief in recruiting and nurturing local talent and we expect to create an additional 20 jobs plus four further apprenticeships by the end of 2012,” said Axiom’s managing director, David Davies.

Located on a 18 acre site in Newbridge, Axiom has created 45 new jobs created since July 2011, bringing its total number of employees to 205.
