Fox Electronics sold, jobs likely to stay

Integrated Device Technology has acquired Florida based Fox Electronics, a global supplier of frequency control products (FCPs), in an all-cash transaction for approximately 30 million USD.
Fox Electronics’ revenue was approximately $23 million in calendar year 2011.

Fox CEO Gene Trefethen told the local media that the company's 55 employees are likely to keep their job, saying Integrated Device Technology's signing a five-year lease on the Fox Electronics building is evidence of the company's intent.
