French EMS ready to 'take on challenge'

With a remarkable 2010 to build on and an increased business activity in 4Q, French electronics manufacturers reported an overall growth of 8% for 2011. Employment figures however, decreased by 6%. Furthermore, investment activities are considered to be close to zero over the coming months. Nearly 650 companies (electronics manufacturers and related services) are represented through SNESE. Those companies - 80% SMEs employing between 20 and 99 staff - have a total workforce of 20'000 and reported a combined turnover of EUR 3 billion.
