Jabil cuts 900 jobs in Hungary

EMS-provider Jabil will lay off 900 employees at its facility in Tiszaujvaros, Hungary.
The reason for the layoffs is a decreasing order inflow - due to the economic situation. The Tiszaujvaros facility employs 4000 people and is located approximately 200 km East of Budapest, said Reuters. As Jabil announced earlier, the company will lay off 3000 employees, affecting 10 facilities worldwide. The measure is to bring $55 million in savings annually.
