Samsung not interested in buying Nokia

Samsung has called speculations on a possible Nokia acquisition as 'groundless'.

The Korean-based electronics giant responded to market rumours about a possible buy of competitor Nokia as 'groundless'. Samsung - based in Suwon (South Korea)- has been linked with Nokia several times before. Samsung overtook Nokia in the first quarter as the world’s largest handset maker, according to Gartner Inc. The Finnish company has been struggling to keep competition at bay, with consumers lining up for Samsung and Apple phones instead.
