TCL to produce LCD TVs for Philips

TCL Multimedia Technology Holdings a Hong Kong-based company has signed an agreement with Philips.

In the agreement TCL will produce LCD TV s for the Netherlands based company. Since three years Philips has partnered with TCL on CRT TV production. To reduce the risk, Philips has decided to outsource LCD TV manufacturing to other companies as well. One of them is TPV Technology.
