CSM to upgrade UK plant
UK based EMS provider CSM has made investments to support its customer demand.
CSM has invested in a Vapour Phase. With the profiling software the Vapour Phase is a more controllable reflow process for complex RoHS compliant boards.
Also a Philips Topaz X machine with 0201 capability has been purchased by the company. The machine has the capacity to place 20,000 components per hour and will be used in conjunction with one of its 10 lines to enable the company to give full population cover. DiagnoSYS ScanPoint AOI has also been invested by the company. CSM have now invested in its 2nd machine.
CSM has also purchased its four units in Wareham, Dorset, totaling over 15,000 sq ft in where the company has occupied for the past 15 years.
