Schmid to use Sanmina-SCI<br>manufacturing in India
Swizerland based Schmid Telecom is expanding the existing production locations with a manufacturing plant in Chennai, India.
Schmid Telecom will use the manufacturing technology campus of Sanmina-SCI in Oragadam near Chennai in the state of Tamil Nadu, to serve mainly the growing demand in the Indian domestic market, but also as a backup capacity for peaks in world wide demand. Production of Schmid Telecom products will start in spring 2008.
