Kitron to establish NPI-center in Sweden
Sources tell evertiq that Norway based EMS-provider Kitron plans to establish NPI-center (New Product Introduction) in Jönköping, Sweden.
Kitron's new NPI-center will be located in the existing premises. Kitron plans to invest in a completely new production line for production of prototypes and smaller batch sizes.
"The idea is to have a dedicated prototype activity that will not interfere with the main production", Mr. Nils Gunnar Fransson, Sales Manager at Kitron Microelectronics told evertiq. Kitron already run a smilar activity in Norway.
