Prima achieves ISO 13485-2012 medical accreditation

The award means that Prima is now eligible to manufacture electronic circuit boards for many applications in the medical equipment industry, and this qualification complements the already accredited ISO 9001-2008 previously awarded. Commenting on the award Tony Hall, Managing Director of Prima says “There is a large potential growth in the Cambridge area in companies whose products go into the medical equipment market and this means that Prima is now in the position to support such companies. This is a key step for Prima which recognises the need to conform to a quality standard specific to this industry.”
