GCL-Poly and Foxconn jointly invest in new plant
GCL-Poly and Foxconn have invested in a solar power-generation plant in Datong, Shanxi, China.
According to a report by DigiTimes, construction of the 310MW plant will begin in the second quarter of 2013.
The project is estimated to cost 105 million USD. “GCL-Poly is responsible for providing polysilicon and solar wafers for the project while Foxconn is responsible for solar cells and modules,” a DigiTimes reported.
