Lockheed Martin goes for NI's products

Lockheed Martin will integrate NI PXI modular instrumentation and platform products in the U.S. Navy’s electronic Consolidated Automated Support System (eCASS) automated test equipment family.
The eCASS test equipment family features the new NI PXIe-1066DC chassis, which adds high-availability features to the NI PXI platform including hot-swappable, redundant cooling fans and DC power supplies. The eCASS family also incorporates more of NI’s latest PXI products, including new rugged, rack-mount controllers based on the Intel Xeon quad-core processor, PXI Express remote controllers, data acquisition modules, timing and multichassis synchronization modules and PXI high-speed analog output modules.

Additionally, eCASS test systems include NI’s new MXI-Express-based VXI remote controller for controlling the VXI subsystems that provide legacy CASS support.
